In a recent contempt case, the respondent, represented by Smt. Sreekala Krishnadas, acknowledged a delay in fulfilling court orders. However, she assured the court that the delay was due to extenuating circumstances beyond their control. The respondent committed to paying the petitioner the eligible amounts within ten days from the date of the hearing. The court closed the contempt case based on this undertaking, but granted the petitioner the liberty to seek a rehearing if the payments are not received by February 1, 2024.
