  • This order may be called the Tea (Marketing) Control (Amendment) Order, 2024.
  • It shall come into force with effect from April 1, 2024.
  • Every registered tea manufacturer must sell not less than 50% of total tea manufactured in a calendar year.
  • One hundred percent of dust grades tea must be sold through public tea auctions in specified states.
  • This requirement does not apply to Mini Tea Factories.
