ORDER

1. Pursuant to the order passed on 23-2-2010, notices in Suo Motu Contempt Petition (Crl.) No.7 of 2009 were sent to the alleged contemnors and duly served on them. Pursuant to service of such notice, Ms Annette Kotian is personally present in Court today. However, Dr. Sarita Parikh and Smt Leela Neil David, the other two alleged contemnors, have chosen not to appear.

2. As far as Ms Kotian is concerned, she is given liberty to file her affidavit to the suo motu notice of contempt, within 12 weeks from date (26-10-2010). As far as Dr. Sarita Parikh and Smt Leela Neil David are concerned, let bailable warrants of arrest be issued against them, returnable on 26-10-2010. Let the contempt proceedings be listed for further consideration on the next date.

3. Apart from the above, we have also seen a communication sent by the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Mumbai, to the Assistant Registrar of this Court, indicating that in connection with the earlier contempt rule, Ms Pavitra Murali could not be traced till date. However, the warrant of commitment of contempt against her has been kept on record, with provision to execute the same, whenever she is traced. Let the said communica
