JUDGMENT :

Anil R. Dave, J.

T.P.(C) Nos. 1860-1861/2014 :

1. These transfer petitions are filed under Article 139- A(1) of the Constitution of India, for transfer of –

(i) Writ Petition (C) No.11940/2014 titled as R. Muthukumaraswamy & Ors. Versus State of Tamil Nadu, Rep. By Secretary to Government, Energy Department & Ors.; and

(ii) Writ Petition (C) No.31537/2014 titled as M.G. Rasool Versus Chief Secretary to Government, Government of Tamil Nadu & Ors. pending before the High Court of Madras to this Court.

2. We have heard the learned counsel for the parties.

3. In the facts and circumstances and keeping in view the grounds urged in the transfer petitions, we deem it appropriate to allow these transfer petitions.

4. Accordingly, we order for transfer of (i) Writ Petition (C) No.11940/2014 titled as R. Muthukumaraswamy & Ors. Versus State of Tamil Nadu, Rep. By Secretary to Government, Energy Department and (ii) Writ Petition (C) No.31537/2014 titled as M.G. Rasool Versus Chief Secretary to Government, Government of Tamil Nadu & Ors. Pending before the High Court of Judicature at Madras to this Court.

5. The transfer petitions are disposed of as allowed. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of.

T.P.(C)NO.550/2015 :

1. This transfer petition is filed under Article 139- A(1) of the Constitution of India, for transfer of Writ Petition (C) No.283/2015 titled as Communist Party of India (Marxist), Rep. By its Secretary, G. Ramakrishnan Versus Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission pending before the High Court of Judicature at Madras to this Court.

2. We have heard the learned counsel for the parties.

3. In the facts and circumstances and keeping in view the grounds urged in the transfer petition, we deem it appropriate to allow this transfer petition.

4. Accordingly, we order for transfer of Writ Petition (C) No.283/2015 titled as Communist Party of India (Marxist), Rep. By its Secretary, G. Ramakrishnan Versus Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission pending before the High Court of Judicature at Madras to this Court.

5. The transfer petition stands disposed of as allowed. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of.

T.P.(C)NO.216/2015 :

1. This transfer petition is filed under Article 139-A(1) of the Constitution of India, for transfer of Writ Petition (C) No.29175/2014 titled as R. Gandhi Versus TNERC & Ors. pending before the High Court of Judicature at Madras to this Court.

2. We have heard the learned counsel for the parties.

3. In the facts and circumstances and keeping in view the grounds urged in the transfer petition, we deem it appropriate to allow this transfer petition.

4. Accordingly, we order for transfer of Writ Petition (C) No.29175/2014 titled as R. Gandhi Versus Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission & Ors. pending before the High Court of Judicature at Madras to this Court.

5. The transfer petition stands disposed of as allowed. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of.
