JUDGMENT

KURIAN, J.

Delay condoned.

2. Leave granted.

3. It is seen that in a similar matter in Paramjit Panag & Ors. v. State of Punjab, this Court vide order dated 15.01.2015 has enhanced the compensation by Rs.1,00,000/-(Rupees One Lac only). Therefore, on the principle of parity these appeals are disposed of declaring that the appellants shall be entitled to an additional amount of Rs.1,00,000/-(Rupees One Lac only) per acre, over and above the amount granted by the High Court.

4. The appellants shall also be entitled to all the statutory benefits except for the period covered by the delay including the delay in refiling the special leave petitions.

5. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.

6. No costs.
