Timely filing of responses by concerned States and Union Territory is crucial in legal proceedings.

ORDER :
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that four States, namely, States of Maharashtra, West Bengal, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep have not filed their response.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the Union Territory of Lakshadweep submits that she has already filed the response. Let a copy of the same be handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner. As far as the other States are concerned, let the response be filed within three weeks.
3. Let the matter be listed in the second week of January, 2017.
