1. Fresh affidavit be filed indicating number of children working in hazardous/non- hazardous employment within a period of four weeks.

2. Issue notice to the States/Union Territories of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Uttaranchal, Nagaland, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Andaman & Nicobar Island, Arunachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Delhi, Daman and Diu, Goa, Lakshadweep, Mizoram and Pondicherry through their respective Chief Secretaries/Administrators.

3. Dasti, in addition, is permitted.

4. Let a copy of this order be also communicated to the Registrar General (Census and Operations), Govt. of India, 2A, Man Singh Road, New Delhi.

5. List both the matters after six weeks.
