ORDER :
At the request of the Court, Shri Mukul Rohatgi, learned Attorney General, has appeared before us. He is informed of the difficulties faced by Road Safety Committee headed by Mr. Justice K.S. Radhakrishnan, former judge of this Court in the due performance of the task assigned by this Court to the said Committee. Shri Rohatgi has assured the Court the he will look into the matter and such remedial measures as may be feasible and possible will be initiated. We hope and trust that the Government of India would provide all facilities and amenities, including infrastructural support so as to enable the Road Safety Committee to perform the duties assigned to it by this Court by its order dated 22th April, 2014.
2. The above aspect of the matter will be considered again after six weeks.
3. We have perused the report submitted by the Road Safety Committee headed by Mr. Justice K.S. Radhakrishnan, former judge of this Court in five volumes. The said report is in the nature of a preliminary report indicating the work done till date.
