ORDER :
1. Apropos our last order dated 17th September 1984, counsel for respondents sought clarification whether the words "there will be no further allotment of cars hereafter" would cover past allotments. On inquiry we are informed that there are 150 allotments made prior to 17.9.1984 in respect of which delivery has not yet been made. In our view, the number is quite large and unless particulars of these 150 allotments together with the reasons for the allotment and the criteria applied in each case are furnished and scrutinised by us it will not be possible to permit the delivery of the cars in their case. The respondents should therefore file the said particulars by 8th October, 1984.
2. We are informed that by way of giving particulars as regards the point made in item (b) of Annexure 'E' at page 35 in W.P. No. 11716 of 1984 the respondents have merely given the total number of allotments made from out of the manufacturer/directors discretionary quota. The respondents are directed to file the particulars with regard to the total number of applications received requesting allotment from the said discretionary quota, particulars of such of the applicants who have been allotted cars from that quota together with the reasons for such allotments and the criteria applied in each case as also particulars of those applicants who have been refused the allotment from such quota together with reasons for such refusal.
3. All such particulars should be filed on or before 8th October, 1984 so that on the next adjourned date, namely, 12th October, 1984, the matter could be proceeded with as directed earlier.
