( 1 ) THE award of the Motor accidents Claims Tribunal, Anantapur in o. P. No. 274 of 1985 dt. 5-10-1988 is putto challenge by the appellant who is the claimant in the O. P. , and said to be an injured person in a motor vehicle accident which occurred on 13-6-1985 at about 3-15 p. m. , near obulesu Kona on the Ghat road due to rash and negligent driving of the bus bearing no. AAZ1899 belonging to the respondent- a. P. State Road Transport Corporation by its driver. It was one of the batch of the cases which was tried together by recording common evidence and disposed of by a common judgment. By recording the evidence of negligence as against the Driver of the bus and by recording a finding of the appellant having suffered certain injuries, in para 17 of its judgment, the Tribunal assessed the compensation at Rs. 10,000/- as a global sum to be paid to the claimant.

( 2 ) ON behalf of the appellant, it is contended that the amount of compensation awarded is inadequate and not commensurate with the injuries suffered by the appellant, the disabilities following therefrom and the loss of many human pleasures by her including the loss of prospect of marriage being a
