( 1 ) THE relief claimed in this case is for issue of a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to absorb the petitioner in the Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board (for briefly - Board) Engineering Service and setting aside the decision of APSEB communicated to the petitioner on 4-8-1992 to repatriate him to irrigation and command Area Development Department.

( 2 ) THE undisputed facts are that the petitioner entered the services of the electricity Department in 1964 as a Supervisor (Civil) and was posted in Sileru project where he continued till 1977 when he was transferred to Vijayawada thermal Power Station. The post was re-designated in 1979 as Additional assistant Engineer (Civil ). While continuingassuch, the petitioner had applied to Andhra Pradesh Service Commission for appointment as a Supervisor in the p. W. D. Department. He was selected for the appointment and thereafter was treated as on deputation to the Electricity Department from the Irrigation and command Area Development Department.
