( 1 ) THE case of the petitioner is that this Court in writ petition No. 4667 of 1980 declared that the petitioner s seniority as Superintendent becomes effective from December 2, 1966 the date on which his immediate junior was promoted and that was confirmed in W. A. No 482 or 1984 on june 25, 1984. Pursuant thereto, the petitioner made a representation on july 5, 1984 to the respondent to refix the seniority and give him the consequential benefits of promotion to the post of Assistant Office Manager and Manager. But, in the impugned order dnted August 22, 1984, the res-pondent had rejected his claim without adequately considering the claim of the petitioner.
( 2 ) SRI Venkataramsanayya the learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that the posts of Assistant Office Manager and the Manager are ministerial posts. The Government have issued G. O. Ms. No. 1271 GAD (Services-B) Department dated October 17, 1966 declaring the post of Office manager us Ministerial post.
