( 1 ) THE detenu, Sri S. A. Rawoof, was ordered by the District magistrate, Warangal, on 5-12-1983 to be detained under Section 3 (2) of the National Security Act, 1980 on the ground that he was acting in the manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order. The grounds of detention served on the detenu refer to five incidents. (1) In pursuance of criminal conspiracy hatched by him and his associates one K. Narayana Reddy was murdered in Venehepally village of Mogullapally Police Station limits in Warangal district on 3-7-1981 by using fire arms by his associates and looted gold and silver jewellery worth about Rs. 33,000 and committed theft of a rifle; and this case relates to Crime No. 53/81 under Sections 302 and 396 I. P. C. , and under section 25 of the Indian Arms Act. This case is pending. (2) In pursuance of criminal conspiracy hatched by him and his associates, his associates committed murder of One N. Narayana Reddy on 11-7-1981 at Upparagudem village of Seerole Police Station limits in warangal district and looted property worth about Rs. 30,000, D B. B. L.
