1. The sole accused in Sessions Case No.31 of 2010 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Ongole, filed this Appeal against Judgment, dated 27.05.2011, convicting her for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 201 IPC and sentencing her to undergo;- (i) Imprisonment for life and also to pay a fine of Rs.500/-, in default, to undergo Simple Imprisonment for a period of two months for the offence under Section 302 IPC and (ii) Rigorous Imprisonment for a period of two years and also to pay a fine of Rs.250/-, in default, to undergo Simple Imprisonment for a period of one month for the offence under Section 201 IPC.
2. The case of the prosecution, as set out in the charge sheet, is as follows :
PW.1 - defacto complainant, who is a mason, is a resident of Inamanamelluru Village and he is an illiterate person. The accused is his wife.
