ORDER :

G. SHYAM PRASAD, J.

1. This is a writ of mandamus filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the 3rd respondent to refer the matter to the Mediation Centre or District Legal Services Authority, West Godavari District, Eluru for conducting counselling between the petitioner and the 4th respondent.

2. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents 1 to 3. With the consent of both the Counsel, the writ petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission.

3. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner is the husband of the 4th respondent. Admittedly, 4th respondent has filed a complaint dated 28.1.2019 against the petitioner, which is registered as a case in Crime No. 22 of 2019 by the 3rd respondent, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 506 read with 34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Summons were also issued to the petitioner in DVC No. 9 of 2019 on the file of the Court of II Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kowur, West Godavari District, against the petitioner. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the police to refer the matter
