ORDER :
1. This writ petition concerns with the validity of the permission granted by the Municipal Corporation to the third respondent to construct a cellar, ground floor and first floor at premises No. 5-9-31, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad under permit No. 170/14/87. The first petitioner is the owner of premises No. 5-9-30/16 to 20. The second petitioner is the Managing Director of the first petitioner company. He is the Managing Director of the second petitioner also. The premises 5-9-31 in respect of which permission was granted by the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad is connected from the main road by a lane the width of which is 14.3 feet. The petitioner's case is that as per the Zoning Regulations, the minimum width of the lane should be 40 feet. No layout sanction has been obtained for the construction in question and, therefore, the permission granted was illegal. The petitioner also alleges that the third respondent will be going in for further multi-storey construction in the same premises and if that happens it would lead to traffic hazards.
