1. The revision petitioner herein is accused No.6 in Special Case No.117/2005 pending on the file of the learned XXI Addl. City Civil & Sessions Judge and Special Judge for CBI Cases (CCH-4), Bangalore (hereinafter referred to as “Trial Court”, for short). He has challenged in this revision, order dated 24.12.2007 passed in the said case holding that charges shall be framed for the offences under Sections 120B, 420, 468 and 471 of IPC and also under Sections 13(2) read with 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (hereinafter referred to as “P.C. Act”, for short),against all the accused Nos.1 to 7 therein, including the present petitioner (accused No.6).
2. Stated in brief, the facts leading to present revision petition are as under
