JUDGMENT :
The appellant is the sole accused in SC No.81/2012 on the file of the II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ramanagara, sitting at Kanakapura, Ramanagara District, who was convicted vide judgment dated 06.12.2013 for the offence under Section 302 of IPC and sentenced to undergo imprisonment for life and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/-with default sentence of simple imprisonment for six months and also awarding an amount of Rs.8,000/-as compensation to PW.2 under Section 357 of Cr.P.C.
2. We have heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned Additional State Public Prosecutor for the State. We have carefully evaluated the oral and documentary evidence on record.
3. Before adverting to the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the appellant and learned Additional State Public Prosecutor, we feel it just and necessary to have the brief factual matrix of this particular case.
