Headnote:Sections 33(w), 101. 117 and 131-Employees of a restaurant charged twice with offences under Sections 33(w), 101. 117 and 131 of Bombay Police Act, 1951 -Owner petitioners eating house licence cancelled-During pendency of cases in Court-Held-An accused till not found guilty by a competent Court, must be taken as innocent-Petition allowed,-An accused in presumed to be innocent till found guilty by a competent Court. Merely because an offence has been registered on a complaint is pending before the Court it is not possible to say that the accused would necessarily be found guilty.
