1. The Appellants, who stand convicted by the Additional Sessions Judge, Sessions Court, Sewree, Mumbai in Sessions Case No. 478 of 2010, by Judgment dated 27th June, 2012 for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 302 and 504 r/w. 34 of the IPC, by this Appeal challenge their conviction and sentence. By the said Judgment, each of the Appellant is sentenced separately to suffer imprisonment of 6 months and to pay fine of Rs. 1,000/-, in default to suffer S.I. for 15 days, for the offences punishable under Section 448 and Section 504 r/w. 34 of the IPC, whereas, to suffer imprisonment for life and to pay fine of Rs. 2,000/-, in default to suffer S.I. for 1 month, for the offence punishable under Section 302r/w. 34 of the IPC. All the substantive sentences of imprisonment were directed to run concurrently with the benefit of set-off for the period already undergone by them in Jail. Facts, as are necessary, for deciding this Appeal may be stated as follows:--
