JUDGMENT :

Rohit B. Deo, J.

The appellant is aggrieved by the judgment and order dated 24.11.2014 rendered by the Special Court under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, Nagpur in Special Child Protection Case 6/2013, by and under which, the appellant-accused is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 376 (2)(i) of the Indian Penal Code and section 5(m) and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (for short "POCSO Act") and Section 3 (1)(xi) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, (for short "Atrocities Act") and is sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for ten years and to payment of fine of Rs. 15,000/- for offence punishable under Section 6 of the POCSO Act and is sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for eight months and to payment of fine of Rs. 1000/- for the offence punishable under Section 3 (1)(xi) of the Atrocities Act. No separate sentence is imposed for the offence punishable under Section 376 (2)(i) of the Indian Penal Code.
