THE NARCOTIC DRUGS & PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCES CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE RULES, 1988

New Delhi, the 7th December, 1988 Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Consultative Committee.
G.S.R. 1151(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (3), (5) of section 6 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (61 of 1985), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:
CHAPTER I
Preliminary
1. Short title, and commencement - (1) These rules may be called the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Consultative Committee Rules, 1988.
(2) They shall come into force on the date2 of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Definitions. - In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires.
"Committee" means the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Consultative Committee;
"the Rule" means the rules framed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (61 of 1985) ;
"the Act" means the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (61 of 1985) ;
