1. THIS is an application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for quashing of the proceedings being case No. 50018 of 2009 under Section 500/120B of the Indian Penal Code pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 8th Court, Calcutta. The petitioners have also challenged the orders dated 09.11.2009, 04.01.2010, 08.01.2010, 15.01.2010 and 22.01.2010 passed by the learned Magistrate in the said case.

2. THE case of the complainant, in short, is that he is a practising Advocate of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta and he is a member of the Bar Association of the High Court.
