1. These two writ petitions have been filed challenging the order dated 06.04.2021 passed by Central Administrative Tribunal, Calcutta Bench, Kolkata (hereinafter be referred to as the Tribunal) in O.A 350/1135/2014. The respondent filed the tribunal application seeking the following reliefs:

“a. An order do issue setting aside and/or quashing the memorandum of charge bearing no. 269/D&A/GR dated 10th July, 2003 issued by the General Manager, Eastern Railway, forthwith.
