ORDER :

1. The learned ASG has filed the report on behalf of CBI in pursuance to the earlier order which discloses that total 51 cases were registered out of which 48 were received from the NHRC and three on the basis of the individual complaints. He has informed that in 20 cases the charge-sheet has been filed after investigation and out of 20 cases in 18 cases there is an application under Section 173A of the Cr.P.C. for further investigation. He has also informed that as per the direction of this Court three cases have been transferred to the SIT and that now 28 cases are under investigation before the CBI. He has submitted that so far 203 accused have been charge-sheeted, 193 accused has been arrested, 114 NBW/P&A have been issued and 181 number of searches have been conducted and a statement of 101 persons under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. has been recorded.

2. He has submitted that the petitioner in WPA(P) 149 of 2021 has not supplied a copy of the petition, so far, therefore, nothing could be done by the CBI in pursuance of the earlier direction in this regard.

3. Learned counsel for the SIT has also filed the report disclosing that 689 cases were registered in the State of West
