JUDGMENT
Ram Prasanna Sharma, J. - This appeal is preferred under Section 374 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 against judgment dated 28.02.2003 passed by Special Judge [under Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities), Act, 1989] (for short "the Act, 1989"), Bilaspur (C.G.) in Special Case No. 144/2001, wherein the said court convicted the appellant in the following manner with further default stipulation:-
