SHIV NARAYAN DHINGRA
PRADEEP SINGH – Appellant
Versus
STATE OF NCT OF DELHI – Respondent

Advocates Appeared:
Amit, MANOJ OHRI, S.K.Luthra, Simon Benjanani

( 1 ) THIS application under Section 439 Cr. P. C. for bail is filed by the accused, who is involved in offence under Section 308/323/341/506/34 IPC.

( 2 ) A perusal of record shows that the applicant was involved in a road rage case. The applicant along with three more boys abused and then beat one Pramod because of slight accident of two-wheeler and motorcycle. The beating was to such an extent that the applicant had to remain admitted in the hospital for days together. Considering the increasing incidents of road rage and the fact that people are out to settle the scores on spot and go to the extent of killings I consider that such incidents should not be taken lightly. The accused was bent on converting the injured into a pulp and a Baseball bat was used in this case to beat the injured. I consider that the applicant is not entitled for bail at this stage. The application is hereby dismissed.
