JUDGMENT:

P.S. TEJI, J.

1. The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioners, namely, Lakshyajit Kapoor and Sarla Kapoor for quashing of FIR No.83/2014 dated 06.02.2014, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Khyala on the basis of the mediation report of the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent No.2, namely, Ms.Aashu Sharma on 19.02.2014.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent-State submitted that the respondent No.2, present in the Court has been identified to be the complainant/first-informant of the FIR in question by SI Rambhau.

3. Respondent No.2, present in the Court, submitted that the dispute between the parties has been amicably resolved. As per the mediation report, it has been agreed that both the parties shall seek divorce by mutual consent by filing a petition under Section 13(B)(1) & 13(B)(2) of HMA. It has been also agreed between the parties that petitioner no.1 shall pay a sum of Rs.3.6 lacs to the respondent no.2 towards her full and final settlement including stridhan, permanent alimony, maintenance (past, present and future) etc. They
