1. The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioners, namely, Sh. Tarun Kumar, Sh. Ho Ram Bhagat Ji, Sh. Kiran Singh and Smt. Anita for quashing of FIR No.969/2014 dated 02.12.2014, under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC registered at Police Station Farsh Bazar on the basis of the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent No.2, namely, Smt. Geeta on 20.08.2015.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent-State submitted that the respondent No.2, present in the Court has been identified to be the complainant/first-informant of the FIR in question by ASI Vinod Kumar.

3. Respondent No.2, present in the Court, submitted that the dispute between the parties has been amicably resolved. As per the settlement, it has been agreed between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 that petitioners shall return the istridhan of respondent no.2 and have paid a sum of Rs.60,000/-which has been received by the respondent no.2 and the articles shall be taken back by the respondent no.2 on 22.08.2015.
