1. By way of the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 307/2006 registered at Police Station Mayur Vihar, Delhi, for the offences punishable under Sections 323/341/506-II/34 IPC and the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom against him.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the aforesaid case was registered on the complaint of respondent No. 2, Sh.Shakeel due to a scuffle took place. The petitioners and the respondents No. 2 and 3 reside in the same locality. After investigation, police has filed the chargesheet and after framing of charge, the case is pending for prosecution evidence. Meanwhile, with the intervention of the respectable members of the locality, the petitioners and respondents No. 2 and 3 have amicably settled the matter, which is evident from the order dated 06.06.2015 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, East District, Delhi. Thus, to maintain peace and cordiality in the neighbourhood, the respondents No. 2 and 3 do not want to pursue this case further against the petitioners.
