1. The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioners, namely, Sh. Jatin Sharma, Sh. G.C. Sharma, Smt. Prem Sharma, Mr. Naresh Sharma, Smt. Mamta Sharma, Mr. Manish Sharma and Smt. Deepti Sharma for quashing of FIR No. 62/2012 dated 23.05.2012, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station C.A.W., Nanak Pura on the basis of the compromise deed arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent No.2, namely, Smt. Chanchal Kaushik @ Chetna @ Charu on 26.02.2013.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent-State submitted that the respondent No.2, present in the Court has been identified to be the complainant/first-informant of the FIR in question by her counsel.
3. The factual matrix of the present case is that the marriage between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 was solemnized on 08.12.2010 according to Hindu rites and ceremonies. After the marriage, the mother-in-law of the complainant took all her jewellery.
