1. The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioners, namely, Sh.Krishna Gopal Roy and Smt.Arati for quashing of FIR No.532/2013 dated 25.12.2013, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Najafgarh on the basis of the mediation report of the Delhi Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi in view of the settlement arrived at between petitioners and respondent No.2, namely, Ms.Anuradha Das on 12.05.2014.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent-State submitted that the respondent No.2, present in the Court has been identified to be the complainant/first-informant of the FIR in question by ASI Tej Ram.

3. The factual matrix of the present case is that the marriage between the petitioner no.1 and the respondent no.2 was solemnized on 05/08/2011 according to Hindu rites and customs. From the very beginning of the marriage, the complainant was taunted by the accused persons for dowry. After that they started torturing the complainant physically and mentally.
