2. This petition has been filed by International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR) inter-alia challenging the New Delhi International Arbitration Centre Ordinance, 2019 published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part II Section 1 in Gazette Notification dated March 02, 2019.

3. In effect, the Ordinance has been promulgated for the establishment and incorporation of New Delhi International Arbitration Centre for the purpose of creating an independent and autonomous regime for institutionalized arbitration and for acquisition and transfer of the undertakings of the ICADR and to vest such undertakings in the New Delhi Intern
