W.P.(CRL) 1142/2021 and W.P.(CRL) 1143/2021
1. These are familial disputes between the step-mother on the one hand and her husband and step-daughter on the other. Allegations have been raised by each of them against the other, resulting in cross FIRs being filed on the same date, i.e. 9th June, 2021.
2. The filing of these FIRs resulted in the premises of the parties being visited by the police authorities, who, in the rukka, have also stated that they found injuries on the persons of both parties.
3. Happily, however, thereafter the disputes between the parties appear to have been satisfactorily resolved with the intervention of the Delhi Government Mediation and Conciliation Centre. The terms of the settlement have also been placed on record and are reproduced, for ready reference:
