ORDER

Mr. Justice V. Balakrishna Eradi, President — Shri H.D. Shourie, appearing in person on behalf of the “Common Cause” very fairly and rightly submitted before us that since the whole question of assessment of property tax is being reconsidered by the Delhi Administration, he does not wish to press for a determination of the points raised in his Petition at this stage by this Commission. Accordingly, he prays for leave to withdraw this Petition with liberty to approach us afresh at a later stage if found necessary and if so advised. The leave asked for is granted and accordingly the Petition stands withdrawn. We make it clear that we are not expressing any opinion on the questions as to the maintainability of the Petition before this Commission and whether the reliefs prayed for in the petition fall within the scope of our jurisdiction and powers under the Consumer Protection Act.

Ordered accordingly.
