Mr. Justice Lakshmana Rao, President—This appeal is preferred against the order of the District Forum, Cuddapah in C.D. No; 279 of 1991 dated 7-9-1991 directing the appellants to pay. Rs. 591.00 (Rupees Five hundred and Ninety-one only) to the respondent within one month from the dale of receipt of the order with costs of Rs. 100-00. The respondent booked house-hold articles on 30-6-1991 at Kaikalur for delivery at Cuddapah. The Railway authorities has delivered the goods on 15-7-1991 at Cuddapah.
2. The case of the respondent was that he approached the Railway authorities at Cuddapah Railway Station every day for (14) days from 1-6-1991 and spent Rs. 20.00 on each day towards Auto-rickshaw charges. It was further suited that he had been to renigunta Railway Station once for taking delivery of articles and that the railway authorities did not delivery the articles. Having regard to the delay in delivery and the amounts spent by the respondent, the District Forum, Cuddapah directed payment of Rs. 391-00 towards actual expenses incurred by the respondent; and Rs. 200.00 towards compensation apart from Rs. 100-00 towards costs.
