Mr. Justice P.K. Shamsuddin, President— The complainant is a retired Government Officer who is running Geetha Photostats and Institute in the Rajadhani Buildings, East Fort, Thiruvananthapuram-23. The case of the complainant was that the proprietor of the 1st opposite party approached him and agreed to supply the Richo FT 4085 photo copier within ten days after confirmation of orders. The proforma invoice stated that the payment of cost should be made to Rajgraphics and Business Machines, Madras. On 1.11.89 Sri. R.C. Vikas, one of the proprietors of Copitron Services intimated the complainant that RICHO 4085 copier was sold and that a copier of the Cannon Company of Japan with better facilities than RICHO FT 4065 was available with them for immediate sale. As the complainant had read and heard much about the precision in performance of Cannon Photocopiers, he believing Sri. R.C Vikas, asked him to supply that machine which was readily available with them.
