ORDER

Mr. Justice E.J. Bellie, President — On going through the complaint we find it very clear that the compensation claimed is purposely boosted to bring the matter within the pecuniary jurisdiction of this Commission. The alleged deficiency in service is that the complainant engaged the services of the opposite parties to provide a luxury video coach of carrying the complainant’s marriage party from Madras to Penagalur Village in Andhra Pradesh, but the opposite parties failed to provide the luxury coach and instead provided an ordinary bus, that too belatedly and on account this, the complainant suffered monetary loss, medial expenses and loss of reputation. The total monetary loss, according to the complainant, is Rs. 11,300/- and medical expenses Rs. 5,000/-. Under the heads deficiency in service, negligence and loss of reputation, he has claimed Rs. 5,00,000/-. This Rs. 5,00,000/- is too much an exaggerated amount. As said above, this boosted amount has been given just to bring the matter within the pecuniary jurisdiction of this Commission.
