K.J. Vaidya, President - The Sr. Branch Manager, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Surendranagar and two others by this appeal has challenged the impugned judgment and order dated 26-3-1996 rendered in Complaint No. 135 of 1990 filed by the respondent Kamlaben R. Patel. wherein they came to be directed by the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Surendranagar to pay her sum of Rs. 25,000/- with interest at the rate of 21 % from 1-10-1990 till payment and also to pay the damages of Rs. 10,000/-. The District Forum also further ordered that damages should be deducted from the salary of the concerned employees of the Insurance company who were found to be negligent in discharging their duties.
2. That as regards the relevant facts of the case of the complainant and opponent, for the sake of brevity and convenience, instead of renarrating everything in extenso here, we would like to simply refer and rely upon the same as reproduced in paras 1, 2 and 3 of the copy of the impugned judgment, treating the same as the part of this judgment.
