A.L. Bahri, President - Two cross-appeals are being disposed of Nos. 98 and 100 of 1997, Appeal No. 98 has been filed' by the Telecom Department whereas the other appeal has been filed by the complainant Ruby Mushrooms and Canning(P) Ltd." The Distt. Forum the order dated December 24.1996 while allowing the complaint gave the following directions for the Telecom Department to comply:-
(i) An amount of Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees. Ten Thousand Only)" would be paid by the opposite party department to the consumer company has compensation for harassment. inconvenience and any resultant loss of business there from for an appreciable period from November 1994 to July 1995. This amount be adjusted in the future billing cycles of the consumer but the necessary departmental directions be issued within 30 days.
(11) The complainant is also held entitled to an amount of Rs. 2.500/-(Rupees Twenty Five Hundred) as costs of these proceedings to be paid as mentioned above.
