Sethulekshmi, Member - This is an appeal filed by the Indian Oil Corporation against an order of the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Kottam dated 25.1.1991 in OP No.(Q) 561 90 directing the appellant to regularize the gas connection given by M/s. Karthika Gas Agency to the Consumer on 21.7.1987, to issue a subscription voucher and to pay a cost of Rs. 100/- towards the expenses.
2. The 1st respondent in this appeal is a voluntary Consumer Organization called Consumer Protection Council of Kerala, registered under the scientific, Literary and Charitable Societies Registration Act. Dr. P. Kamalasanan, Ram Nivas(Gayathri), Sasthamcotta who is a member and Secretary of the 1st respondent - the Consumer Organization has taker a L.P.G. Connection through M/s. Karthika Gas agency, who is the authorised distributor of the appellant and who is the 2nd respondent in this appeal and the 2nd opposite party in the original petition.
3. The 2nd respondent in this appeal had committed irregularities in giving gas connections and in providing refils of L.P.G. cylinders to him. The gas agency had given more connections than authorised by the Appellant, Indian Oil Corporation and that amo
