D.D. Bahuguna. Sr. Member The complainant Smt. Pasui Devi wife of Late Sri Trilochan Kabadwal. Rio Village Hinga. Tehsil Ranikhet. Distt. Almora through this complaint has lodged a claim for Rs. 2.40.000/- as the total loss of the insured jeep and has also asked for various amounts of Rs. 4.05.000/- and Rs. 66.000/- sustained as loss as a result of the accident of the vehicle. Rs. 75.000/- for mental and physical harassment payment of Rs. 5.530/- towards recovery charges of the accidented jeep alongwith 24% per annum interest with effect from 18-51991 till the date of payment besides cost of proceedings of Rs. 5.500/0- Briefly stated the facts of the case as alleged by the complainant are as follows:

New India Assurance Company Haldwani, District Nainital from 5-71995 to 4-7-1996.
