ORDER

V.K. Agarwal, President - Feeling aggrieved by the order dated 24-4-2000 in complaint No.284/98 by District Consumer Redressal Forum, Bilaspur,(hereinafter called the 'District Forum' for short) dismissing the appellants complaint. She has preferred this appeal, under section 15 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.

2. The complainant/ appellant, admittedly, is the owner of Commander jeep bearing registration No. M. P. 26-E6690. The said jeep was comprehensively insured by the complainant/ appellant with, the respondent Insurance Company for the period from 27.9.1997 to 26.9.1998. The said jeep met with an accident on 23.11.1997 near police station, Kota. The jeep was damaged on account of the accident: The incident was reported at Police Station, Kota and respondent/insurer was also informed about the incident on 24.11.1997. Surveyor V.K. Shrivastava was appointed by the complainant/ appellant who submitted his report on 29.11.1997. The claim of the complainant/appellant was, however, repudiated by the respondent/insurer by their letter dated 26.11.1998 on the ground that jeep was being plied in breach of terms of policy and as the driver was not having valid and effective dri
