Vyas, President—This order will govern disposal of Appeal Nos.616/2010 and 617/2010, which have been preferred by the same appellant against the same respondent feeling aggrieved by the order dated 15.9.2010 of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum Raipur (CG) (hereinafter called “District Forum” for short) in separate complaint Case Nos. 425/2009 and
463/2009.
2. Both the aforesaid complaints were filed by the same appellant/complainant in respect of the insurance cover provided by the respondent Life Insurance Corporation of India (hereinafter called “Insurance Corporation” for short) to deceased Anganath Chandrakar, who was husband of the appellant/complainant. The deceased purchased one policy on 10.2.2002 for Rs.2,00,000 on his life, in respect of which Complaint Case No.425/2009 was filed and another policy was purchased by the deceased from the same Insurance Corporation on 3.2.2007 on his life under Money Plus Plan in respect of which Complaint Case No. 463/2009 was filed.
