Mrs. Neena Sandhu, Presiding Member—This is an appeal filed by Idea against order dated 27.9.2010 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum-I, UT, Chandigarh (for short hereinafter to be referred as District Forum) passed in complaint case No. 187 of 2010.

2. Briefly stated, the facts of the case are, that the complainant was using Idea Postpaid Connection # 9781322188 since 12.8.2008 and the complainant sent his first request to activate DND (Do Not Disturb) service in July, 2009 but till today the complainant kept on receiving the calls and messages. It was submitted that even today, if he send a message to activate the service, he always receive a service reply that ‘my DND service is already activated’. In this regard, the complainant talked to the persons concerned i.e. Mr.Bisman, Mr.Vinay and Mr.Harpreet Teja in the month of November, 2009, December, 2009 and January, 2010, who assured to resolve the issue soon but the same was not done by the OP which caused a lot of harassment (mentally and physically) to him.
