J.M. Malik, Presiding Member—The present complaint has been filed by Alpha Therm Ltd., the complainant, through Smt. Aman Chatha, its Director. Para No.1 of the complaint runs as follows:

“1. That the complainant is the Director of the registered Company, in the name of ‘Alfa Therm Ltd.’, herein and has been authorized by her company, vide Board of Resolution dated 31.08.2015, to invoke the original jurisdiction of this Hon’ble Commission. The complainant falls within the definition of ‘consumer’, as envisaged under the Act. A true copy of the Authorisation letter vide the Board of Resolution dated 31.8.2015 is attached herewith as Annexure C1”.

2. The relevant portion of the Resolution runs, as follows:
