2. Counsel for the parties present. Mr. Garish K. Joshi, who is the SPA Holder for M/s. Grafik Artz at NGM, Hubli, ordered for seven machines of 520V make, from the Ops Mrs. Bina Parag Shah and Shri Parag Shah. Thereafter, he filed a complaint that those machines were defective. The District Forum passed the following order:

“The complaint is allowed in part.

The respondents 1 and 2 are directed to replace the paper-cutter machine with suitable make available in the market at the freight charges of the complainant & to install the unit to the establishment of the complainant & to see that all the machine works consecutively onwards by supplying foil to 6th machine and to pay a sum of Rs.1,000 towards the compensation along with a sum of Rs. 500 towards the litigation charges within 60 days from the date of return of the paper cutter machine by the complainant under due acknowledgment.
