Gupta, Presiding Member—This revision petition has been filed under section 21(b) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 against the impugned order dated 16.09.2014, passed by the Maharashtra State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (hereinafter referred to as ‘the State Commission’) in First Appeal No. 106/2010, Rani Satia Mata Cooperative Housing Society Ltd. vs. Sudam, vide which, while dismissing the appeal, the order dated 29.01.2010, passed by the District Forum, Nagpur in consumer complaint No. 690/2009, filed by the present respondent, allowing the said complaint, was upheld.
2. The complainant Sudam Gridhar Dhanore alleged deficiency in service against the petitioner Society for having not delivered the possession of the plot to the complainant in his capacity as a member of the said Society. It was stated in the consumer complaint that the complainant was allotted Plot No.113-A of area 1000 sq. ft. on 04.10.89 in the scheme launched by the OP Society on two hectares of land in village Kalamna, Taluk and District Nagpur.
