ORDER

J.M. Malik, (P.M) - The District Forum rendered one single and identical orders in all the above said cases. The District Forum, Bandra (East), Mumbai, directed the Ops to pay a sum of Rs. 1,77,500/- to the complainant in Complaint No. 301/2006, titled C.K. Dhananjayan & Anr. v. S.B.Rane & 12 Ors., decided on 09.05.2008. The District Forum further directed to pay Rs. 1,75,500/- to the complainant in Complaint No. 302 of 2006, titled Jaya Jayaram Shetty v. S.B. Rane & Anr., together with interest @ 18% p.a., from 16.09.2015, till realisation. The District Forum further directed the OPs to pay a sum of Rs. 50,000/- towards compensation and Rs. 1,000/- as costs of the proceedings to each of the complainants.

2. Thereafter, four cross appeals were preferred before the State Commission by the parties. The complainants prayed that further reliefs be granted which were not granted by the District Forum and two other appeals were filed by the OPs for quashing of the order of the District Forum, dated 09.05.2008.

3. This order shall decide four revision petitions which arise out of the single order rendered by the State Commission on 02.01.2010. These facts entail the same law in quest
