Mrs. Rekha Gupta, Member - The present revision petition has been filed against the judgment dated 31.10.2014 of the Andhra Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Hyderabad ('the State Commission') in appeal No. 619 of 2013.

2. The facts of the case as per the respondent/complainant are that one Ronanki Sridevi, wife of the respondent, obtained a life insurance policy bearing No. 004512431 under Unit Linked Insurance Policy with an annual mode of payment of premium of Rs. 24,010 from the petitioner/opposite parties for a sum assured at Rs. 3,71,340. The policy period commenced from 18.11.2010. The respondent was shown as the nominee of the policy holder Ronanki Sridevi (life assured). Subsequently, the life assured died on 15.11.2011 due to heart attack.

3. The respondent informed the death of his wife to the petitioner No. 2. The respondent submitted a claim form for settlement of the claim to petitioner No. 2 on 28.3.2012. The petitioner kept quiet without settling the claim. The respondent got issued a legal notice on 9.7.2012 demanding the petitioner to settle the claim immediately and to pay Rs. 3,71,340, the assured sum under the policy. On receipt of the
